Real Photography, Real People

You’ve probably already seen more than a handful of shots of Carlos Costa and Jenna Needham across Shores. Maybe you’ve heard of them, maybe you haven’t. Though they might look like it, they actually aren’t professional models in the traditional sense. They’re bloggers, both with huge Instagram followings behind them, yet there they are, front and centre on the Shores homepage, with direct links to their Instagram, Twitter, Facebook – you name it.

Y’see, we want to do things a little differently with Shores, but everyone says that, don’t they? We’re putting our money where our mouth is though – starting with lifestyle photography.

Whoa whoa whoa before you start being all “what’s lifestyle photography, dawg?” – first of all, who says “dawg” any more? And why did you do that accent when you said it? Pull yourself together, for Christ’s sake. Second of all, lifestyle photography is just the bits of photography that aren’t on product pages. It’s usually pretty moody stuff, with models looking a combination of both thoughtful and borderline depressed – you know the shots we mean.

Instead, we want our lifestyle shots to be taken in the way that you think is best. We want it to be personal, the way you think it should be, not the way our competitors seem to think it has to be. Real photography taken by real people, in other words – showing our outerwear in the most natural settings possible.

Don’t worry, you’ll get full credit for any of your pictures that we end up using, as well as direct links back to your various social media profiles. If that wasn’t enough, any products of ours that you use in our shoots will be yours to keep. You can’t say fairer than that, surely?

If you’ve ever rolled your eyes at typical fashion photography like we have, this is your chance to show the world how it should be done. We can’t wait to see what you come up with, we really can’t. Go nuts.

To get involved, all you need to do is fill out our contact form with which pieces you’d be interested in using for a shoot, along with the sizes you need, then we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
